In this video, John Embry — Chief Investment Strategist at the Canadian firm Sprott Asset Management — discusses the recent correction in the silver price with James Turk, Director of the GoldMoney Foundation. John argues that long-term savers and investors in precious metals should not panic in the face of such corrections, and also discusses the growing divergence between the paper and the physical silver market, and how we are in the early stages of a big rise in precious metals prices. James Turk of the GoldMoney Foundation speaks about currency devaluation and the rising gold price. How the gold price is rising against all major currencies and monetary policy is political, having abandoned all pretence of seeking monetary stability. He warns of the dangers of a hyperinflationary crisis. James also explains why gold should be considered money and not an investment. He also talks of the coming dollar collapse and the waterfall decline in the dollar, especially since Ben Bernanke’s words on QE. He talks of different examples of hyperinflation from paper money hyperinflation in Weimar Germany to deposit currency hyperinflation in Argentina. The presentation was held on 29 April 2011 in Munich, Germany.

President Obama and Vice President Biden have just had yet another meeting with top lawmakers hoping to reach an agreement about the debt ceiling. One of those absent from the meeting, but who doesn’t agree with Obama’s suggestion, was Ron Paul, a congressman from Texas. Yesterday he exchanged some heated remarks with Ben Bernanke over the way Congress and the Fed have dealt with some of these problems during the last three years. Rep. Paul also asked Bernanke about what he sees as an important fix to some of these economic woes – gold. To talk more about the issue RT has Scott Carter, CEO of Goldline. It has its roots in 1940s and 1950s rock and roll, itself heavily influenced by rhythm and blues and country music. Rock music also drew strongly on a number of other genres such as blues and folk, and incorporated influences from jazz, classical and other musical sources. Musically, rock has centred around the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with bass guitar and drums. Typically, rock is song-based music with a 4/4 beat utilizing a verse-chorus form, but the genre has become extremely diverse and common musical characteristics are difficult to define. Like pop music, lyrics often stress romantic love but also address a wide variety of other themes that are frequently social or political in emphasis. The dominance of rock by white, male musicians has been seen as one of the key factors shaping the themes explored in rock music. Rock places a higher degree of emphasis on musicianship, live performance, and an ideology of authenticity than pop music. – Like/Dislike, Comment, Favorite and share on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ share to get the word out on this video.
